Surviving a Fire

Always consider the following:

→  Check, every few years, that your home is adequately insured and remember to budget for replacement clothing, which can be the largest part of any claim.

→  If a fire breaks out, warn others and follow your escape plan. Once out, stay out and call the fire brigade.

→  Follow your escape plan.

→  Get an independent Loss Assessor to handle your insurance claim. The aftermath of a fire is particularly stressful and allowing an assessor to act on your behalf means you can get on with rebuilding your life.
